Lord Mayor's Parade Plymouth & IDAHO

The Lord Mayor's parade in Plymouth to be held on May 17th will have as its theme "The people and diverse communities of Plymouth". The LGBT community in Plymouth will have a float bedecked with rainbow flags, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the gay rainbow flag and IDAHO.

On the 17th May 1990 the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from their list of mental disorders. Now IDAHO exists to provoke action to end Homophobia.

International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) provides a platform for everyone to make a powerful statement to demand improvements for the quality of life for LGBT people both overseas and here in the UK. (quote from the IDAHO UK website)
