Plymouth’s Lord Mayor’s Day Parade 2008 will take place on Saturday May 17th.
Plymouth Pride Event will be entering a float for the event and are looking for your support. The theme for this year’s parade is the “The people and diverse communities of Plymouth”.

For this event we need volunteers:

• To help build the float.
• To be on the float or walking by its side during the parade.
• To help dismantle the float at the end of the parade.

There is a volunteers group who are working on the design and building of the float. We have a large truck kindly donated for the day by Fergusons Transport Limited http://www.fergytrux.com/. Instructions on when / where the building will take place will be emailed out to anyone who would like to help.

We are also proud to announce that Crooked Tempo, http://www.crookedtempo.co.uk/ will be the band on the float with us. So lets samba!
